Mixed-flow fan is mainly composed of impeller, casing, inlet collector, motor and transmission device. Among them, the impeller is the core component of the fan, usually made of aluminum alloy or steel, which has high strength and corrosion resistance. The casing plays the role of fixing the impeller and supporting the whole fan, and is usually welded by steel plates, which has good sealing and stability. The inlet current collector is used to guide air into the fan to reduce the generation of eddy current and noise. The motor and transmission device are the power sources of the fan. Usually, the three-phase asynchronous motor is used to transmit the power to the impeller through coupling or belt transmission.
The working principle of mixed-flow fan is based on the principle of fluid mechanics. When the motor drives the impeller to rotate, the blades on the impeller will push the air to flow and form airflow. Due to the design of the impeller, the air flow is compressed and accelerated after entering the fan, so that the fan produces a certain wind pressure and air volume. At the same time, due to the design of the inlet current collector, the air enters the fan more evenly and stably, which further improves the efficiency of the fan.
