SDS tunnel jet fans are usually used in municipal tunnel projects for ventilation in tunnels.

The tunnel jet fan is generally suspended on the top or side of the tunnel, does not occupy the traffic area, does not require other construction pipelines, and has low civil construction costs; Tunnel jet fan is a very economical ventilation method because of its simple installation, operation and protection.

Tunnel jet fan is divided into two standards with and without muffler [import and export collector (diffuser)], and is also divided into one-way jet fan (SDS) and reversible (two-way) jet fan [SDS (R)] two ventilation forms. The SDS (R) reversible injection fan has both electronic and mechanical switching modes to switch to additional fan speed in under 30 seconds.

SDS tunnel jet fan, tunnel fan, jet fan, tunnel jet fan: single jet fan, two-way jet fan. Two-way jet fans have two types: electronic and mechanical. Can be switched to rated speed in 30 seconds. For high noise requirements, mufflers can be added to reduce noise. The fan has reasonable structure, complete specifications, high efficiency, obvious energy-saving effect, low noise and long air supply distance. When the fan is working, a higher thrust can be generated for a given energy. At this point, a portion of the total air flow through the tunnel is sucked in by the fan.
After the impeller has finished its work, it is sprayed out of the outlet at high speed, and the jet transfers energy to the air in the tunnel, pushing the air in the tunnel to move together. When the flow rate decays to a certain value, the next set of fans continues to work, thus achieving the suction of fresh air from the tunnel entrance and the discharge of polluted air from the outlet.
